Delhi airport has ended its partnership with Turkish company Celebi after India revoked its security clearance.
Despite this change, the airport has assured that operations will continue smoothly.

Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) ended its partnership with Turkish firm Celebi late Thursday after India withdrew security approval. DIAL confirmed that all employees working for Celebi will be immediately transferred to other employers.
The company severed ties with Celebi, which managed ground handling and cargo services at Indira Gandhi International Airport. This decision was made due to concerns about national security. It followed the cancellation of the security approval for Celebi Airport Services India Pvt Ltd by the aviation authorities.
Recently, there have been calls to boycott Turkish goods and tourism. This is because Turkey supported Pakistan during rising tensions after the Pahalgam attack. At the same time, India’s Operation Sindoor targeted terror networks in Pakistan and PoK. Additionally, Islamabad used Turkish drones during this period.
Celebi was responsible for ground handling services, while its cargo division managed cargo operations at the airport.
DIAL said it is working closely with its current service providers to keep airport operations steady. It also promised to look after the well-being of all employees affected by the change.
The airport authority confirmed that all current employees working for Celebi in cargo and ground handling will be transferred to new employers immediately.
DIAL is working with its existing ground handling companies, AISATS and Bird Group, to keep services running without interruption. For cargo, DIAL is also bringing in a pre-approved cargo handler to ensure smooth operation.

The BCAS has immediately revoked Celebi Airport Services India Pvt Ltd’s security clearance. This move was taken to protect national security, as authorized by the Director General.
DIAL reassures travelers, airlines, and cargo companies that it is doing everything possible to maintain high service standards during this transition.
