Elon Musk has revealed plans for Starship’s mission to Mars, scheduled for 2026, with the potential for human landings as early as 2029.

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk revealed on Saturday that the Starship rocket is scheduled to launch towards Mars by the end of 2026. The mission will include Tesla’s humanoid robot, Optimus, aboard the spacecraft.

In a post on X, Elon Musk said,

“Starship departs for Mars at the end of next year, carrying Optimus. If those landings go well, then human landings may start as soon as 2029, although 2031 is more likely.”
