Earth and seven planets are captured in a rare photograph for the first time ever in the Planetary Parade 2025
According to experts, it might be the first time that every planet, including Earth, has been shown in a single photograph.
The 27-year-old photographer Josh Dury, popularly known as the “Starman,” is thought to have accomplished a historic first by taking the first-ever single-frame photograph of all seven planets plus Earth. A rare celestial event known as the “great planetary parade”—which happens when all eight planets align—was the cause of this exceptional opportunity. It hasn’t happened since 1982. The panoramic view was taken on February 22 from Somerset’s Mendip Hills by Mr. Dury, an award-winning astronomical photographer who may have made history with this remarkable shot.
Planetary Parade: India’s Visibility
All of India will be able to see the planetary alignment. This unusual phenomenon will be visible in most cities. It will be possible to see Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Uranus with the unaided eye. However, because Mercury, Saturn, and Neptune will be so dim, you will need a telescope to see them.
